Integrating Meta with Fostr allows you to bring advertising, messaging, and social engagement data directly into your AI operating system. This guide walks you through the steps to securely connect your Meta account, provide the required access token, and enable data flows from Ads Manager, WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram into Fostr Recordsets and Actions for analysis and lead tracking.

Step 1: Create the Fostr AI App in Meta

Log in to your Meta for Developers account.

Navigate to My Apps → Create App.

Name the app “Fostr AI”.

Under Add Use Cases, scroll down and select Other.

Choose Business as the app type, then select Create App to continue.

Under the product list, select Set Up for Messenger (no further steps needed for this product).

In the left-hand sidebar, select Add Product.

Click Set Up for WhatsApp.

Select Start Using the API.

Choose Generate Access Token.

Enable Opt in to current WhatsApp accounts only.
